The Company

First Wealth Ltd was incorporated in 2012 with an objective of providing a wide range of value added capital market related solutions for the corporate sector which will expand their horizons and maximize their financial achievements. We, at First Wealth offer financial consultancy services on capital restructuring, facilitating acquisitions and mergers, business process enhancements, review of risk management modal, settling up and re-engineering of divisions etc. In addition, we deliver business modelling, equity financing solutions, conduct research on economic, sectorial corporates.

The company employs the services of a highly qualified and experienced team of consultants and operational staff that is committed to excellence and team work.

Board of Directors

Chandra de Zoysa Sahabandu - Chairman
Chandra de Zoysa Sahabandu graduated from the University of Ceylon Peradeniya. He served Peoples Bank and retired as the General Manager/ CEO. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at Nation Lanka Finance PLC. His areas of specialization are Commercial Banking, Credit Evaluation and Administration.


Bede Fernando - Managing Director
Bede Fernando is a career banker. He has obtained a BSc (Hons.) in Natural Sciences from the University of Colombo. He is also an Associate of the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. He served Bank of Ceylon mainly as a Forex Dealer in the Head Office and London Branch. He served DFCC in the Investment Banking division. He also served as the Chief Executive Director of several firms covering Stock Broking, Primary Dealer, and Non-Banking Financial Services.

He has received extensive overseas business exposure and training including, foreign exchange and money market, Treasury and Money market, Structuring of Debt Securities, Asset Management and Wealth management at Bank of Ceylon London, Swiss Bank Corporation, Geneva, ANZ Global Treasury, Melbourne and, at DBS Bank Singapore.


Ruwan Fernando - Director
Ruwan Fernando holds a B.Sc. Engineering Degree in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa with over decades of experience in software development and providing software services. In year 2006, he founded Innovative-e (Pvt) Ltd, a Microsoft Gold Partner Company, which provides software development services to the US market.
